Harvesting damask rose in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari

Farmers in the Iranian province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari have started harvesting damask rose.

Widely cultivated flower throughout the country, the rose water produced from damask roses is applied in pharmaceutical and perfumery industries.

With an area of 16,332 square kilometers, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province lies in the southwestern part of the country.
